🌸 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
An Epic Story Woven in Silk and Painted by Hand.
This exquisite Off White (Beige) Desi Tussar Silk Madhubani saree transforms the timeless epic of the Ramayan into wearable art.
Painted entirely by hand by Mithila artisans, the saree narrates sacred moments from the Ramayan — beginning with Ram–Sita Vivaah (the divine wedding) and culminating in Ravana Vadh, the triumph of dharma over evil.
The border features vibrant bird and foliage motifs, while the grand narrative pallu unfolds in detailed panels depicting mythological scenes, traditional characters and symbolic elements of the epic.
Rich yet graceful, this saree carries both cultural storytelling and artistic heritage, making it ideal for festive occasions, cultural gatherings and heirloom collections.
The Art & The Craft
Each Rangika Studio saree is created through painstaking hand painting by skilled Mithila artists, where every motif is drawn freehand without printing or mechanical reproduction.
The Ramayan narrative panel requires weeks of careful brushwork, as artisans illustrate different scenes using the traditional Madhubani style of storytelling through patterned figures, nature elements and symbolic colours.
Every saree takes approximately 25–30 days to complete, allowing the artwork to evolve gradually with patience and precision.
The result is not merely a garment, but a living canvas of mythology and culture.
