The Art & The Craft

Every motif on this saree is painted entirely by hand by skilled Mithila artisans. The detailed pallu alone takes days of careful, meditative brushwork.

Each saree requires approximately 20–25 days to complete — allowing the artwork to evolve layer by layer, without haste.

The fish motif in Madhubani tradition symbolises prosperity and abundance, while the surrounding florals and leaves represent growth and harmony — making this saree especially meaningful for weddings and sacred celebrations.
