🌸 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This hand painted Madhubani Kerala Cotton saree blends traditional Mithila artistry with a refined contemporary aesthetic. Set on an elegant off-white Kerala cotton base, the artwork is rendered in soothing green natural tones, creating a calm and sophisticated visual appeal.
The pallu features a circular Matsya Mandala, where fish and floral motifs intertwine in a harmonious composition — a traditional symbol of abundance, prosperity, and flowing life energy in Mithila art.
One side of the saree is adorned with a detailed fish and foliage border, while the other side carries a subtle geometric floral border, creating an elegant asymmetrical balance. The saree body is further enhanced with delicate lotus buta motifs, adding a graceful rhythm across the fabric.
Finished with a classic golden kasavu zari edge, this saree effortlessly blends artistic heritage with everyday wearability.
Its subtle elegance makes it especially suitable for professional spaces, academic settings, cultural events, and refined everyday wear.
🎨 ART & CRAFT
Each Rangika Studio saree is individually hand painted by skilled Mithila artisans from Bihar, where the centuries-old tradition of Madhubani art originated.
Using fine brushes and traditional techniques, the artist carefully paints every motif directly on the fabric — a meticulous process that typically takes 15–20 days to complete.
No two pieces are ever identical, making every saree a unique wearable artwork.
