🌼 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This hand-painted Madhubani Pure Linen saree celebrates the symbolism of light, devotion, and nature through traditional Mithila motifs.
The body of the saree is adorned with delicate Sun motifs, representing energy, vitality, and divine presence. The pallu carries graceful rows of flowers, diyas, and hanging bells (latkans) — traditional elements often associated with festive rituals and sacred offerings.
Rendered by Mithila artisans on soft yellow linen, the artwork creates a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary elegance.
Lightweight, breathable, and visually vibrant, this saree is ideal for festive gatherings, cultural celebrations, and meaningful occasions.
🌸 THE ART & THE CRAFT
Madhubani painting, originating from the Mithila region of Bihar, is one of India’s most revered folk art traditions. Known for its intricate linework and symbolic storytelling, the art has been practiced for centuries by women artisans.
✨ Each Rangika Studio saree is individually hand-painted by Mithila artisans over several days, making every piece a unique work of wearable art.
In this design:
☀️ The Sun motif represents life, energy, and cosmic balance.
🪔 Diyas symbolise light overcoming darkness and spiritual awakening.
🌼 Floral patterns represent harmony with nature.
🔔 Hanging bells (latkans) signify celebration and sacred offerings.
Together, these elements transform the saree into a canvas of cultural symbolism and joyful expression.
